After the usual climbing session one fine Sunday afternoon in March, Andrew Warrington and Roland Sultana got down to some further work in this popular climbing area. Regular maintenance of bolts and lower-offs is a priority in this area, which has seen an increased number of climbers recently.
Proper screw-gate LOs were installed on Kleen Kutter, Owls’ Nest Crack and Rat Route. When using these lower-offs and clipping in a rope, the screw gate must always be screwed shut by the climber, who makes use of it at his or her own risk.
