The MRCC, together with the MCC, is working hard on the rebolting of Maltese and Gozitan sport routes with titanium bolts. These bolts are provided by a grant from the MTA, but the hard work (and I can tell you it IS hard work!!) is provided voluntarily by the members of the two clubs 🙂
Check out the images here taken from the rebolting of Xaqqa, which, we are proud to announce, is now complete. For the safety of the whole climbing community, locals and visitors alike, this enhanced security can be enjoyed for many years to come.
