After the usual morning practice, the MRCC organized a beginners’ climbing session for a large group of about 30 scouts, in order to introduce these young adventurers to the sport. The event was held in the shade of Wied Babu West, where the routes are rather challenging for beginners. However, with a helping hand from Andrew, and lots of encouragement from Tomas Mrozek, Edward and Marina Sciberras, a lot of these young scouts managed to progress up the crags!
Many of the participants are now looking forward to another climbing session, which the MRCC shall definitely organize in view of the increasing interest in the sport.
