Last Sunday’s activities involved more than just the usual climbing endeavours. The secluded and peaceful area of Argentier provided the ideal backdrop for an afternoon barbeque for over 30 people, where climbers brought along their family and friends to share in the fun. The food and drink provided a welcome respite for many a battered climber as they came off their test-pieces, and the children’s participation in the event created the typical Sunday picnic atmosphere. After the barbeque, the youngsters also had a chance to test their climbing skills on one of the beginner climbs ”Acupuncture” S 4b.
